1956 Belair Nomad Wagon - Trophy Winning Show Car


1956 Chevrolet Belair Nomad Wagon. Completely restored trophy winning show car. This Nomad is painted in Base coat/Clear coat Sierra Gold and Indian White. The paint has been color sanded and polished to a beautiful show finish. All the exterior trim is new, replated, or whatever it needed to make it show ready. Chrome is outstanding with no pitting. Stainless trim is outstanding as are the emblems. The 15" American Racing Torq Thrust wheels are in outstanding condition and have a set of BF Goodrich Radial T/As mounted on them. Front tires are 235/60R15 and the rear tires are 275/60R15.

The interior has been kept close to original in style with a few upgrades. Updated gauge cluster by Classic Industries. Custom wood steering wheel and column levers. The tilt wheel column has custom billet levers and sleeve. Vintage Air A/C with custom vents. A custom Kenwood sound system has been installed with CD and four speakers.

The engine is an 8 cylinder GM ZZ430 replica crate motor built by Selman Chevrolet. It is the same motor as the original ZZ430, just not numbered. It has been modified to produce 470 HP. It is connected to a new Turbo 350 HD 3 speed automatic transmission with a shift kit. Flowmaster mufflers with 3" pipes. The car is equipped with a 605 power steering unit and 4 wheel power disc brakes.
