1955 Chevy Nomad

This 1955 Chevy Nomad has a Newman C-4 Corvette chassis featuring four wheel disc brakes, tubular upper and lower control arms, independent rear suspension mounted on a laser straight body. Power comes from a new 355 V-8 crate motor managed by a MAD electronic ignition with a F.A.S.T. self programming fuel injection system, atop an Mandelbrot intake. A Billet Specialties serpentine front runner system was employed to house the accessories including power steering and Vintage A/C. You will also find stainless headers, Billet polished valve covers and air cleaner.

A 700-R automatic overdrive transmission delivers the power to a Corvette rear end via a custom drive shaft, surrounded by stainless steel exhaust.

The immaculate leather interior is hand stitched throughout the car including the custom bucket seats, hand formed door panels, center arm rest, and dash pad. 18 inch polished Bud nick custom wheels mounted with P255/45ZR18 BF G-Force high performance radials all around.

1955 Chevrolet Bel Air for Sale

This beautifully built 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air has extraordinary performance. It is equipped with a 2002 Corvette LS1 350 cubic inch engine and a six speed transmission. The body was restored from the frame up. The paint is called Boyd Coddington Red, and it is a bit darker than your usual bright red. The door handles were shaved, and some of the trim modified to give this 1955 Chevy a unique look.

The interior is tan leather. Custom low back buckets are incredibly comfortable, and a custom built center console houses the shifter for the six speed manual transmission, as well as an array of classically designed auxiliary gauges, power window switches, and a powerful Pioneer stereo system with XM capabilities. With reliable OEM grade components throughout and a professional level of craftsmanship, this 55 Chevy will thrill on lookers as much as the driver.
