A 1957 Post - Just Like They Built Them In The 1960s

This a very nice high dollar 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 door post car just like they built them in the 1960s. Well almost! What I should have said was "This is a 1957 Chevy 2 door post car with a performance 327 cubic inch Chevy V-8 and a Muncie 4 speed just like they built them in the 1960s". In the 60s most Hot Rodders didn't pay much attention to getting a high dollar paint job and custom wheels. The factory paint job was good enough and the factory wheels were just painted black with the white walls turned inside. What they did spend time and money on was the 327, 4 speed and rear end.

Anyway this is a spectacular 1957 Chevy Bel Air 2 door post. It had a complete frame off restoration with strict attention to detail. Powered by a performance built 327 & Muncie 4-speed on the floor with perfect cruizin 3:55 gear ratio. Brand new, stunning, base/clear Hot Lava Metallic paint. Sits just right on the 20/18-inch chrome wheels. Show quality everywhere you look! Beautiful interior, mint chrome & stainless, rust free body with original quarters. Excellent, highly detailed undercarriage and trunk. Runs, drives & looks great according to the owner.

This may be the most beautiful 1959 El Camino in existence.

Yes, this may be the most beautiful 1959 El Camino in existence. According to the owner this car was painstakingly restored over a period of 5 years, virtually nothing was overlooked. The paint, Porsche Guards Red, is as perfect as the body. The seat is a brand new Glide Engineering frame widened by 4 inches to fit this wide bodied muscle car. All interior spaces were insulated with modern materials and the headliner is backed with solid foam insulation. The power amp and CD changer are mounted behind the seat. The headliner incorporates a GMC console from a 2005 Denali Pick up and has dome lights. The steering column is from Iditit and features a column shifter with Lokar shift control cable. All glass is new and has OEM style power windows.Carpeting is expensive German "berber" style weave, trimmed in matching vinyl.

The Chassis was completely rebuilt. The engine is a .030 over 454 with dual 4 Barrel Carbs. Mallory distributor and ignition system. Early 700R4 custom built transmission. Front brakes are disc, drum rear.

This restored 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air has to be one of the finest I have ever seen. The body on this car is very straight with excellent black paint laid over it and all new chrome. All the glass and weather stripping are all new. The interior is all new showing no signs of wear and even still smells new. Engine is a "Blue Flame" 6 cyl. with 3 speed manual transmission. The engine fires right up with no smoke and purrs like a kitten. The transmission shifts good and tight with no slop. The car also has all new wiring that has been converted over to 12 volts and new radial tires. You rarely see any of these cars restored to this caliber, here's one now that anyone can afford. Body Style is a Coupe, Interior Color: White Exterior Color: Black....
