1951 Chevrolet Convertible Chopped Top1951 Chevrolet Convertible with a chopped top for sale in Ohio. You are looking at a true piece of custom car history that is a one of a kind custom. This car was originally built in 1959 and is a true 1951 Chevy convertible that has been radically customized. The modification includes a chopped working power top, pancaked hood with rounded corners, Frenched headlights. Taillights, antenna, door handles, hood and trunk emblems were removed. Unique custom made fender skirts, working lake pipes, 1950 Pontiac upper trim custom front and rear bumpers and a one piece Oldsmobile windshield.

The engine is a 350 Corvette with lots of chrome and polished aluminum. Transmission is a turbo 350 and a Nova positraction rear end. This car has power disk brakes, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, AC and heat, power seats, power remote windows, power trunk, power steering, mustang II front end, AM/FM CD Player, 5 new Wide White Wall tires. The interior is done in Red Diamond Tuft Leather and is like new. The trunk is also done in Red Diamond Tuft.

1954 Chevy, Chevrolet 2 Door Sedan, Chopped Top


This 1954 Chevy 2 Door Sedan with a Chopped Top is a fresh project just completed this summer. The car has a 1979 Nova sub-frame and a 1979 Camaro rear end. Since then the front end has been rebuilt with new springs, shocks, upper and lower ball joints, new disc brake pads and new front end bushings. The rear end has new leaf springs, shocks, brake cylinders and brake shoes. The fuel line and brake lines are all new also. Body work and painting done by professional body man. Top chopped 4" in front and 5" in the rear. Rear window is from a 1950 Chevy Fleetline. Door posts are tilted, door handles shaved and it is nosed and decked. Floors were rusty and they were replaced with floor pans from a donor 54 Chevy. It is painted in PPG black basecoat and PPG Soft Touch flat clear. Hand painted pinstripping. The stainless below the side back windows is from a 1954 Pontiac and so is the center grill bar. Bumpers are rechromed, all stainless is dent free and polished. Front parking light housings are new. Center grill bar and upper grill bar are rechromed. New tinted windshield and side glass. All new weatherstripping, window channel, and rubber gaskets. Motor and trans are from a 1979 Chevy pick-up. 350 motor, 350 trans, mileage unknown. Rebuilt 4 BBL Quadrajet carb, new 100 amp chrome altenator. All new wiring. New under the dash air conditioning system. New dual exhaust with Flowmasters and chrome exhaust tips. New spark plugs, wires, hoses, fan belts. New 1969 Camaro radiator. Leather seats are from a Chrysler LHS, good condition no rips or holes. 3 piece headliner, door panels, carpet, and trunk done professionally. GM tilt steering column. New gauges and CD player. Frenched electric antenna on the right rear quarter. 15" smoothie wheels with new radials and 1 3/4" Port A Walls. Chrome bullet center caps, new triple-cap lakepipes. This car runs and drives great.
