This 1955 Chevy Nomad has just undergone a complete professionally done nut & bolt frame off restoration with incredible attention to detail by a well known rod and custom builder. This Nomad has 500 test miles and performs flawlessly with everything properly working as it should. The fit, finish, paint and interior on this car is remarkable and it draws a crowd and garners top trophies no matter where it goes. The underneath the car is just as nice as the top and inside of this Nomad.

This professionally painted 55 Nomad is a beautiful Base Coat/Clear Coat, Pearle White over a show stopping Burgundy Pearle.

Engine is a brand new GM 350 High Performance Ram Jet Fuel Injected Deluxe Crate Motor....Rated at 350 HP. Automatic Transmission 700R4...4 speed with overdrive, Newly done...Hurst Shifter.

An incredible custom! A stunning & rare 1955 Chevrolet 150 2 Door, built to run or show. The motor specs are impressive: supercharged 350 V8 4 bolt main bored .060 over. The engine breathes through a Weiand 144 Supercharger and a 950 Demon carburetor. Other engine specs: Holley Systemmax Aluminum Head; Steel Crank; Speed Pro Dished Pistons; High Flow Moroso oil pump; Double Roller Timing Chain; Crane Competition Cam; Chrome Water Pump; Aluminum Oil Pan; MSD 6 BTM Boost Timing Master Control Box; MSD Distributor; MSD Blaster Chrome Coil; 300+ Ignition Wires; Stainless Steel Headers; High Torque Starter; Chrome Pulleys; 100 amp Chrome Alternator, and; Holley Electric Fuel Pump.

The interior of this '55 is breathtaking, with polished billet aluminum trim and a billet and chrome titl steering column and wheel. The Lokar 8 Ball Shifters is a cool finishing touch! 1955 Chevy Sedan Delivery Chopped Top Pro Street


This wonderfull car is cool 1955 Chevy Sedan Delivery. The top has been chopped 4 inches. It is a pro steet with narrowed 9 inch posi 4 link suspension w/coil overs..33x22x15 Mickey Thomson tires in back 4 wheel disc brakes. Power steering. 468 big block chevy engine with B&M turbo 400 Transmission 2800 stall converter and Flow Master exhaust. Polished aluminum cross flow radiator, dual cooling fans.external finned tranny cooler. Smoothie front bumper, Polished stainless grill (not chrome) Smoothed firewall. Louvered hood. Car was stripped to bare metal before paiinted Porsche Red Custom Rod gauges, chrome tilt column. Modified dash (1 hump removed) Billet steering wheel,chrome tilt column, billet brake pedal Custom biege and red interior. Secret audio stereo with 6 disc changer. No expense was spared in building this car.

In my post yesterday I talked about buying a classic Chevy already restored. Here is a classic example of a nice car that was restored a few years ago. It still looks great and has a lot of nice features. The starting price was 9,500.00 and it has a reserve. The bidding is up to 9,800.00 and should fetch $12,000.00 to $15,000.00.
